Wildflower Project - Coordinated by Lake County Parks and Trails

As part of the scrub restoration project, two areas have been dedicated to Central Florida native scrub/sandhill wildflower species. The flowers include self-seeding annuals, perennials and flowering shrubs and grasses. There are two wildflower areas at PEAR Park, one near the Demonstration Garden area, coordinated by Ron Plakke. The other is .along the Meadow Trail, coordinated by Peter Moeller. The wildflowers bloom in late spring and in the fall.
